Francis Yaw Twene has been in the banking sector for over 27 years with experience in Treasury, Risk Management, Internal controls and estate. Having work for over two decades, He serves as an institutional memory for the bank. Francis joined Suma Rural Bank in May 1996 and held many managerial roles before he was appointed as the Head of Estate and Treasury in November 2019.
Prior to his current position and role, Yaw Twene held the following positions, Risk Officer 2018-2019, Head of Internal Audit Unit 2013-2018, Head of Credit 2011-2013, Senior Project Officer 2009-2011, Senior Project Officer 2006-2009, Agency Head, Suma Ahenkro 2002-2006, and Agency Head, Japekrom 2002-2006.
Francis leadership and strength within internal control spear head the bank performance to improve efficiency, income and business growth which led the bank to win Club 100 Award in 2016.
He also serve as a team member that transform the bank’s operation from paper base worked to computerized accounts and record keeping which has improved operational turnaround and customer satisfaction.
