Suma Rural Bank Ltd. wishes to notify the general public and its cherished customers that in accordance with section 143 of the Banks and Specialized Deposit-Taking Institution Act,2016 (Act 930), Accounts held at the bank which have not been operated in the last five (5) years have been classified as dormant. The affected customers or their legal representatives are hereby requested to visit any Branch of Suma Rural Bank within two (2) weeks from the date of publication to reactivate their accounts. The affected accounts shall thereafter have their balances transferred to the Bank of Ghana if not reactivated in accordance with the Banks And Specialized Deposit-Taking Institutions Act.
